The Sages gathered together for an unkown reason. They are all standing in front of Temple of Light, like they are waiting for something to happen.
-Is there any way to stop him?- Nabooru asked Rauru.
-I'm afraid we can't do much young sage! If only Hero of Time were here.
-Rauru why didn't you call Link?- asked Saria -He might be our only hope!
-No Saria young sage I...
Then strong noise stoped Rauru from answering. TheTemple of Light started shaking and a shady character left the temple.
He turned to the sages and laughed.
-HA HA HA HA HA! You pitiful sages! Did you realy thought you could stop me?
You can't hurt me no matter what you do,because the force of Power is in my hands.
It was Ganondorf !
He moved quickly towards Zelda and imprisoned her in some kind of crystal. Impa trying to protect Zelda attacked Ganon, but he threw a powerful magic at her!
-Impa are you all right?- Zelda and other sages were woried. But Impa was lying on the ground dreaming the eternal dream.
-Impa? ... IMPA NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!-screamed Zelda. But what could she do in her little prison?
And the other sages were frightened to death.
Then Ganon took the crystal Zelda was in and flew away.

Saria and Ruto were crying for Impa and Zelda while Rauru and Darunia were thinking how to tell Link.
-I'll tell him. I know Link the best so please let me tell him!
-Ok Saria, you can tell him. But first you have to calm down. So it's maybe better for you to rest few days to relax.You will tell Link when the time is right!-Said Rauru to Saria.
She just looked at him with her big green eyes and said nothing.

In Kokiri village where Link lives, everything is peacful. Link feels a little lonely without Saria and Navi around.
It's weird that Navi left me like that, thought Link.
But all in all, the things were OK

All of a suden Link had this terrible need to go to graveyard in Kakariko village. He didn't knew why he's going there but he went.
It was dark night and it wasn't pleasent to walk beetwen graves with no companion.
"If only Navi is here I wouldn't be so afraid and lonely"-Said Link to himself.
Lost in his thoughts he walked around the graveyard. Then he noticed a new grave!
''Hmmm a new grave someone must have died! Let me check it out."
Link took a closer look and found something inscribed!

"Here lies Impa, protector of Zelda
and last of her kind The Sheikahs!
Killed at the hand of Ganondorf
never to come back.
She is burried here in this very
graveyard because Kakariko is the place she was born."

-WHAT, IMPA, DEAD???
Link was verry confused.
-But why don't i know anything about this. And what's this about Ganondorf? He can't be back.Can he???
-I'm afraid so Link!-It was a voice that Link hadn't heard in along time and it was very soft and pleasent.
-Who is that? I know that voice. Is that you...Navi?
-Yes Link it's me!
Link turned and saw Navi. Her fairy light was not as shiny as before.She was barely alive.
-Navi, what happend to you?\par
-It's a long story Link. Don't ask me that now please. I just need some company!
Link took his fairy and puther under his cap so she could warm up a bit. Then he feel asleep by Impa's grave.
When he woke up it was allready noon. But what a sad day it was. Rain was falling like it's telling Link that world is in trouble.
-Link!
-Yes Navi?
-Let me tell you what happened, but please, I don't have much time, so do not interupt me!,
-Why Navi.What's the hurry?,
Navi begin the story without answering Link's question.,
-You remember the day you handed the Ocarina of Time and Master sword back to princess Zelda?,
-Yes I do! And then there was that big party on Lon-Lon ranch and...,
-Ok so you remember.And how you and Zelda and all the others got back seven years younger?,
-Yes I remember.But I don't know why that happened. It turned me into eleven year old again!,
-Yes.Now listen!,
It has been a year since that happened and all this time I was held emprisoned by Kotake and Kuome.,
-WHAT? But I killed those two in the Temple of Spirits.
-No Link you didn't.You killed the fake ones.These two are real Ganon's mother.
-But...
-Let me finish this please!
-Ok proceed!
-I was held in prison all this time so they could finish their little plan. You see Link, their plan was to use my power so they could free their son Ganondorf!
-WHAT?
-They used me and I couldn't do anything against their powers! Now Ganon is free and he killed Impa and imprisoned Zelda.
He's coming to get you too, Link!
-But why?
-Don't you remember when Ganondorf took the triforce it split up into three forces?
Because he was evil he could keep only one of those forces. He kept the force of Power.
The force of Widsom came to Zelda, and you Link, got the force of courage.
-Oh I see, so now he wants me and Zelda, so he can have the whole triforce!
-Yes Link.But you must stop him once again before he reaches his goal. If Ganon lays his hands on the Triforce he will become invinsible.
-But what about you?
-I'm dying... Link!
-WHAT, NO NAVI YOU CAN'T DIE. I CAN'T FIGHT GANONDORF WITHOUT YOU. PLEASE NAVI, DON'T LEAVE ME! NOT NOW...NOT EVER!!!
-Calm down my friend.I don't have any power they stole it all from me.My end is near.\par
But don't worry I'll be with you forever. I'll follow every your step.Goodbye Link.
As little fairy said that, the last light in her disappeard.She died in front of Link's eyes. In the Graveyard.
-Navi? Navi please it's not funny!
No please don't leave me! NAVIIIIII!!!
Why,why you. I found you and then I lost you again! WHY?
Sad day turned even more sad, as big tears found their way over death Navi's small lifeless body.
Sudenlly beam of sunlight shot Impa's grave,and grave opened.
Impa raised from the grave and amaized Link.
-Impa?
-Link you must avenge us all.Stop Ganon and avenge Navi's and my death.\par
Go now boy and do as you are said!You will find Ocarina of Time in Temple of Light.

-But..
Impa disapierd with Navi's body in her heands,and Link found a scroll lying on the ground.
It was a new melody.Tune of the death.
Now he can speak with Impa or Navi when ever he wants.
-I will do it.I will avenge your death Navi! I'll kill him, I'll kill Ganon.
DO YOU HEAR ME GANONDORF? I WILL KILL YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

-Ha ha ha ha ha! ... The little fairy is gone.Yet I must be thankful because her power sent me free!
-Master Ganon what about the Princess?-Asked Ozar, Ganondorf's friend.\par
-Live princess to me and go get Link.
-Yes Master Ganon.The boy will be yours in couple of hours.\par

Link went to see Saria so he could tell her the bad news! But when he came to the Sacred Meadow, Saria was not there as usuall.
-What a? ... Something is wrong! She's allways here.
-Looking for me Link?-It was Saria's voice. But she sounded sad.
-Yes Saria.Where have you been? Something realy bad happend and...
-I know Link. Ganondorf is free!
-You know? But how?
-I am a sage you know. I was there when he got free. He killed Impa and flew away.\par
I still don't know how he got free, and he kidnaped Zelda.
-There is more than that Saria!
-...
-Navi she got back!
-Wow Link that's good news. I'm afraid that's the only good thing that happen lately.\par
-But now Navi is death.-Said Link with tears in his eyes.
-B...but...h...o...w?
-Ganon's mother used her powers to sent Ganon free.\par
-No.This can't bee! That's not true.Please Link tell me that is not true!
-I'm afraid it is! But this time I will stop the King of Evil for good.-Link said that and ran away from Saria crying.
He was afraid and sad, but he had courage to continue his quest for right. He thought of Zelda and how happy they all were when Ganon was defeated. He slowly headed to Lon-Lon ranch to get his horse.And a shadow followed him.

-LINK! Hey Link you are back. I'm glad to see you again. - A red hair girl greeted Link. It was Malon daughter of Talon the ranch owner.
-Oh hello Malon. How are you? How's Epona?
-Oh fine, I'm just fine! And Epona is fine too. She's happy to see you.
-I'm happy to see her too. But I have bad news!
-You mean Impa's dead? I know that allready. I saw her spirit on the graveyard in Kakariko village. But no one belives me!
-You did??? - Link was amazed.
-Yes I did. She told me to help you in any way possible.
-I saw her too. But I don't have to talk about that anymore. Can i borrow Epona for a while?\par
-Come on Link you know better than that. You know Epona is yours as much as mine.\par
-I know. Well, I'll see you around. Bye Malon!
-Bye Link. - Malon was kind of sad. It hurt her to see Link like that. -Oh Link?
-Yes? - He turned.
-He's back isn't he? The man in black? Is he back again?
-Yes Malon he's back. -said Link and slowly walked away.
Malon was scared. He was back again, and that means that the beautiful land of Hyrule is going to be ruined again. She watched Link going away on Epona. And then she noticed a shadow following him.

The night had come. And things become more black and sad. Link left Epona for a while. He went to the lake Hylia just to remember how things were before.
-What was that? - Link asked himself. He heard a noise behind him. He turned around and pulled his sword.
-Who is there?
But no one responded. Link waited like that some time.
-Silly me, there is nothing there. I wish Navi is with me now.
He placed his sword back in it's place and stared at the lake.
-Fight with anger in your hearth is not good boy! - Link heard a voice behind him. He quickly turned and saw a shadow.
-W...who are you? What are you?
-You see don't you! What you see that's what I am!
-???
-Ha ha ha! - The Shadow disappeared
"Am I dreaming? What was that...that shadow? I must be going crazy. Ah nevermind,whatever happens I won't stop until I reach my goal!"
-Link?
-Ha?
-Link is that really you???
Link looked at the stranger and recognized her!
-Ruto!
-Link it is you! I see you didn't forgot me! You didn't forgot me now. How could you after all we went through!
-I remember my dearest "fiance"
-Hahaha yeah, your fiance! It was more of a childish game, but now...
-We are kids Ruto!
-I know. But our hearts are full grown up now. Don't you ever forget that, Link. I guess you must be here because of Navi.

-Of course I do. I am a Sage, am I not? But I wonder...

Link slowly turned so Ruto's gaze would miss his.
-So Ruto how's it going here at the lake?
-Link, my question goes first! Remember. So I'll ask you again! WHY DON"T YOU VISIT THE DEKU TREE???

-Navi was the last of the faries. The last of the tree's children. I...I just can't look at Deku's eyes!
-Oh Link you can. I now you can. You have the force of courage. There is a lots of courage in you Link. It's not your fault that Navi died. but she's in a better place now. Go Link... go see the Deku tree!

In a blink of an eye, Link was out of Ruto's sight! He was more afraid then ever. How could he beat Ganon, when he can't even take care of this tiny problem that is so big in his heart!
