The Legend of Zelda:The Mysterious Magic by Zelda4Ever

"I have clearly wasted precious time, but if you could help me..." Huh? Link awaken at a startle by the crowing of the cocoos. He had been having the same dream he's had for a while;about his last adventure:the masks, the parrellel world. He kept dreaming about it. It had been the wackiest adventure he had ever had! Link stood up. He even remebered when Ganondworf had gotton the triforce and he was an adult. He had never relized how much he'd been through. He walked out of his tree house and into the Kokiri Forest. Saria was wating for him. To link's surprise, the expression on her face was a combination of sorrow and unhappiness. Link climbed down the ladder leading up to his tree house. "Link... something terrible has happened! Everyone has dissapered!" "Huh?",Link replied. "There is noone to be found. I've checked the lost woods but noone is there. Not even the skullkids. But I did see something strange near the entrance in the bushes, but I was afraid to look. Link,I know how brave you are,"she said"would you go look?"
Link was a little afraid himself. Everyone gone? He walked up near the entrance of the lost woods and saw the bushes. He too saw something. It wasn't moving so Link walked overand pulled it out. It was a Kokiri girl. She was dead. Link gasped and called for Saria to come over. Saria too gasped at the sight of the dead Kokiri. Then she instantly burst into tears. "What about the deku tree?"Link asked a crying Saria."What did he say? "I didn't want to ask him, I thought he would be to upset",replied Saria. And to this answer, Link replied"I don't think it's fair that he shouldn't know, he IS the gardian of the Kokiri. He should know what is happening." As the walked to the meadow, Saria had stopped crying, but it was still clear she was sad. They finally reached the meadow. "Oh, Saria and the faithful Hylian Link. People of the forest only come to me when something terrible or terrific is happened."He almost looked like he was excited, until he looked at Saria's face more carefully. "What is wrong dear? You can tell me." With those eight words,Saria told the Deku Tree everything. Link remembered only to well when the old deku tree died and how he had tryed to save him buy defeating Queen Ghoma. "-then Link pulled it out and it turned out to be a Kokiri girl-dead!" "Well I must admit it is sad to see someone die, especially someone who lives nearbye, but do you two have any idea where Mido and the other Kokiri are? What about the shop keeper, is he there?" "No",said Saria"he's gone too." "Link",said the deku tree urgently"go to Hyrule castle,go see Pincess Zelda and tell her what has happened in thy forest! As you know true Kokiri can't leave the forest or they will die, only you can help us! Go! Now!" With this, Link ran as fast as he could to te exit and across the bridge into Hyrule Field. Only... it didn't look a thing like Hyrule field. It was storming, the ranch looked horrible, as Link explored, he also saw that the river has dried up! He decided to call Epona, his small pony to make the trip to the castle easier. After playing Epona's Song 5 times, Epona still didn't come. Link couldn't even hear her neigh. Something must've happened Link declaredtohimself. Not only to the forest but all of Hyrule. It then occured to him that Saria and himself weren't taken. Of course Link was not a Kokiri, so that probably excluded him from being taken. Link also remembered that Saria was a sage of the forest temple. Not yet of course but she would be and that's probably why she wasn't taken. He decided to see what happened to the ranch. He ran as fast as he could to the ranch. Once he got in did he only see how bad things were. The stable had been torn down, the chicken room/bedroom looked like it was going to collapse any second, and the fence around the huge center of the place where the horses roamed had been completely demolished. Link was very worried about the princess. He rushed out of the ranch and tried to call Epona one more time with her song. Still, no answer. Link darted over to the castle and went into the market. Everything was ruined! Stores were torn down, and demolished! Link saw noone. He want into the area of Hyrule castle. Everyhting was demolished except the castle which looked link it would any second. It was no surprise to Link there were no guards there so he quickly ran across the small field to come to a broken drawbridge. He quickley went over the bridge
stepping through some mud. He stepped forward and entered the castle. Link had never been in this part of the castle before. It looked as if somebody came in and litterally tore the place apart. He quickley went up the stairs that were a few feet away from him and opened the doors. There, before his eyes, was Princess Zelda! "Princess-",
said Link immediatly when he walked in.
"The Kokiri are gone, am I correct?" said Zelda. "I had a dream, that all of Hyrule was destroyed, everything was messed up, and the boy in the forest would come back. My mother and father, known to you as the king and queen of Hyrule, have dissapeared as well. Impa though, is right behind me..." "So we meet again young man! I still can't thank you enough for saving the shadow temple of that monster.Isn't it strange how everyhting happened as it seems overnight? The princess has told me about her prophecy on how everyone has dissapeared. Even Hyrule looks like a disas-" "Princess,Impa...",Link interupted"My best friend Saria is a Kokiri and she has not dissapeared. She is infact the one that told me how everyone is gone!" said Link in a very serious tone. "Ahh yes, a future sage that girl will be",said Zelda in a very relaxed tone. "I have also been infored that Princess Ruto of the zoras along with her father King Zora, have not been taken. She also added he's getting skinnier to hehehe." Finally, after 10 minutes of silence, Impa finally spoke. "I'd bet you 300 rupies that all 6 sages and people with a piece of the triforce on thier hand have not been taken." "Saira, Princess Ruto, her father and Daraunia are probably crying. Impa here and Nabooru aren't exactly the crying type so when Impa walked in here, she looked dumbstrucked. Nabooru probably
acted the same way", said the Princess Zelda thoughtfully."But Impa, you said that people that are furute sages have not been taken and people with a piece of the triforce on thier hands have not been taken. Am I correct? Well what about King Zora?"Zelda asked Impa curiously. "It's probably because he's rolalty",Impa relied knowingly."But what about my mom and dad?!" "It is a mystery",said Impa. After a few minutes of silence, Link spoke."Do you two have ANY idea of what is going on?" "What about Ganondworf?"Impa asked Princess Zelda"he still has the triforce of power right?" "Yes he does",informed Zelda"but that seal is to strong and it is impossible to break through, even with magic! The only people who can release him ar the sages who sealed Ganondworf and nobody is a sage yet. That seal must be hit by powerful magic hundreds upon thousands of times before it even BEGINS to weaken. This will exclude Ganondworf from causing the trouble." As Zelda spoke, Link felt guilty about not telling Zelda that a kokiri girl had died, so he decided to say it now before he forgot.
"-so you see you to-" "Zelda? I forgot to tell you that a Kokiri girl was discovered dead near the bushes toward the entrance of the lost woods!" said Link interupting.
"WHAT?!?!?",yelled Zelda in an outraged voice. "I know people have dissapeared, but I haven't heard that anyone died! I'm very sorry to hear this news and will pray for her tonight", said Zelda finally calming down after hearing the astonishing news. "Who could have done such a thing?!
Link, as the Hero of Time, you need to solve this mystery. I will help you along the way, but you are the Hero. Go ask Daraunia,Ruto,Nabooru, and all the other sages what happened and did they see anything strange. I would go ask Princess Ruto of the zoras first because her father is still there. Go! Hurry! The fate of Hyrule depends on you! Link walked out of the castle. Once he was outside, he looked up and saw Death Mountain. The clouds around it were a dark pink. Link remembered that if the clouds were like this, something was wrong. He stepped back into Hyrule Field. Suddenly, he heard a neigh! It was Epona. Link looked around. It seemed to be coming from the ranch.
As he walked nearer and nearer to the ranch, the neighing grew louder. He stpeed into the ranch and walked into the field. There, was Epona! But next to her it was a tradgic sight. There, was Malon, hands folded together on her belly, lying there not making a move."Malon",Link whispered."Please wake wake up." Nothing happened. Link mounted Epona, and took off very slowly to Zora's Domain.
Most of the ice was gone Link noticed as he walked in. He went up the spiral path to King Zora's Lair. And as Link expected, both King Zora, and Ruto were hugging each other and looked very sad. "L-link? Is that you?! Oh it is! Thank you for destroying Morpha in the water temple! I just can't thank you enough!" "What has happened?"Link asked. "What are you talking about? Oh, why are we crying and noone is here?I am not sure! I woke up and wanted to go for a swim, even though I swim everyday-but anyway, I got out of bed and went into the main part of the Domain. I was usually the first one there, but noone showed up fo two hours until my father came! I asked him "where is everybody",and he said he didn't see anybody. We checked all thir rooms, and noone is there! Hours passed and none turned up. The ice was weak enough for us Zoras to simply crack through,so noone is still stuck beneath it! Now do you mind going honey, I'd like some time alone with my dad here. Yes I know we will be married, but this is a true personal moment. Link, who was a bit dissapointed without finding any clues so far, asked if either of them saw anything strange. "Well, I do remember I woke up 3 times in the night because I heard a wooshing noise. The third time, I saw a little flash of blue light. But only for a split second. Finally, he thanked Ruto, and rode around Hyrule field for a bit thinking of what Ruto said. Blue light? He thought he should go to Goron city, and see what Daraunia had to say.
Link came to Kakariko Village. To his surprise, it looked just like it always had. He looked around to see if anything was going on. Link found noone. He looked in all the houses and stores. Nothing. The ghosts in the graveyard weren't even out. Link even went into the windmill, still no answer. Not even the crowing of the chicken lady's coocos were to be heard. Link walked up to the entrance of Death Mountain, and ignored the dead guard and the torn down fence. The walk up Death Mountain seemed to take no time at all. The only clue he had was that there was 3 whizzing noises. Not to mention a flash of blue light on the third. He came to Goron City's entance. That gate too, was torn down. He went in. Daraunia was on the middle platform looking down over the Goron Ruby's stand. "How dod this happen?"he mumbled."When my sworn brother Link
destroyed Volvagia, I thought that would be the end of our troubles for a very very long time. But it hasn't even been 6 months since that happened!" "Daraunia?" "Link! Oh !Let
me give you a goron hug!" Link instantly fell backward. He got up and said" No thanks, I've had enough goron hugs to last a lifetime." "Oh",said Daraunia looking slightly dissapointed."So tell me brother, why are you here?" Link looked right and left and looked back at Daraunia. "Oh. Every single goron in this city has seemed to dissapeared!Well, everyone except Biggoron. He's still up there making swords." "Darania, did you see anything strange last night?" "No.Sorry." "Are you sure?" "Yes." Link nearly got to the exit, when Darauni called. "Brother, I have lied. You are the Hero of Time and you should know. I was waken three times last night because of wooshing noises. Though the first time, I saw a flash of red light for a split second! Did I help you?" Link was delighted! He thanked Daraunia and left. He was just about to go past the flag on the trail whe he remembered that Biggoron was still there. He knew what he had to do. He had to climb Death Mountain.
