After you enter Woodfall Temple, the first thing you must do is get to the other side of the room. Use the Deku Mask and a Deku Flower to fly from flower to flower to the far exit. You can decide to get the fairies now, or wait until later. Use the Deku Mask again, hop across the water to the Deku Flower in the middle of the room and fly up to the platform to find a treasure chest. Open it and you will find a key. Use the Deku Mask, again. There are snapper turtles in this room and their shells protect them so you can't knock them over. They are difficult but they can be killed. You must get into a Deku Flower wait for a turtle to climb over top of the flower while you're inside and use your head to kill them. When you kill them all you will get the Dungeon Map . Now youi can remove the Deku mask and become Link you can be Link. Use a Deku Stick to light the unlit torches. Doing this will open up new areas. To find the compass, move the block out of the way to create a clear path from the lit brazier to the unlit one near the lower right corner. Be careful not to fall into the water as you run. Use the torch found at the bottom of the steps then run upstairs and light the brazier. Put your Deku Stick away before it burns up and pull it out again. Light that sitck on the brazier you just lit and jump on the floating platform. Jump over to the the door and burn the cobweb so you can get to the stairs. Now you can get the Bow and Arrow. To do this you must kill the Dinolfos. Hit them twice and they should die giving you access to the Bow. Stand on the island with the Deku Flower and equip your new bow and arrow. Across the room you'll see an eyeball switch. Shoot the eye to make an island float up and down. Put on your Deku Mask and use the flower to reach the island when it is at it's highest point. Fly up to the island to reach the high door that is the path to the boss key. Enter the door and face the sub boss. To defeat it become Deku Link. Get into a Deku flower and when you are directly over the boss, smash into its belly. Quickly become Link again and shoot arrows as it escapes to the roof by foot. When you have collected the Boss key, shoot an arrow through the flaming brazier on the upper deck, into the unlit brazier in the middle of the wooden flower. If you succeed the flower will lift up and spin. Get on the flower and aim at the unlit brazier as it lines up in your sights with the lit brazier and shoot. Turn into Deku Link and fly over to the alcove on the right on second floor. Remove your mask and shoot at the crystal switch in front of you. This will extinguish the fire across the way. When the fire is out, quickly fly to that flower and use it to reach the Boss door.
THE BOSS BATTLE: -ODOLWA THE JUNGLE WARRIOR:
Odolwa
the Giant will attack if you get too close. Shoot him with an
arrow to keep him at bay. If he starts to chase you, use
the bombs from the bomb flowers and send him and his
army packing. After he's toast, get the piece of heart and
step into the blue light portal. Cut the vines that cover the door
and put the Deku Princess in a bottle so you can take her to the palace.
Release her in front of the King and her name will be
cleared.
