Deku Mask


When Link dons the Deku Mask, he undergoes a painful transformation and
takes the form of a Deku Scrub. While wearing this mask, Link is able to do
business with Deku Scrubs who would normally ignore him in human form.

Link gains special abilities while wearing the Deku Mask. He can shoot
bubbles from his snout in typical Deku fashion, and float through the air
via flower propeller power. Instead of the Ocarina, Deku Link blows an
impressive multi-horned instrument to blast out a medley of magical tunes.

Goron Mask

With bushy white sideburns and a rotund belly, Goron Link is one of the most
unusual Gorons you'll ever see. While disguised as a rock-munching Goron,
Link is equipped with a powerful punch and the ability to roll up into a
speeding spiked wheel.

At the Goron race track, Goron Link speeds through the course at a pace that
would put any Pod Racer to shame. Goron Link favors the bongos over the
Ocarina, and he has to pound out mystical rhythms to accomplish certain
tasks.

Zora Mask

When Link transforms into a Zora, he instantly gains the ability to speed
through the water like an over-caffeineated dolphin. He uses detachable arm
fins to unleash a devastating double boomerang attack, and is able to stay
underwater for as long as necessary.

Most impressive is Zora Link's musical instrument: a radical fishbone guitar
which he plays in a hip Zoran band.


Specialty Masks

Obviously, many of the puzzles in Majora's Mask require Link to use the
primary transformation masks listed above. There are over 20 additional
masks, though, which can help him other ways. Some masks allow Link to talk
with specific characters, while others give Link special powers like the
ability to run more quickly. At times, the possibilities seem endless.
 
Oni-Link Mask: 
You are probably wondering...."Who is Oni-Link?" This answers two questions. The one we just stated, and "Will Adult Link be in the game?" We have seen screenshots of only Young Link for the past two years, so we were convinced that you cannot play as an older link. We were wrong.  Oni-Link is a mega powered adult link, you must wear his mask to transform into him. The catch is, you can only transform into him at the last boss..Majora's Mask. The only way to get this mask is if you obtain all the other masks first. Sounds unfair doesn't it? Well the answer is no, it is perfectly fair once you realize who you are dealing with. Oni Link is about three times the size as Young Link, he carries a different magical sword that does twice the damage as its predecessor. Oni Link also has much better armor and protection, and most important of all:  he looks really cool.  We don't know if it is required to get the mask to beat the game yet,  but what we do know we give to you.  He isn't just an improved version of Adult Link either. He has silver hair, completely white eyes, and is equipt with a GIANT double edged sword. And when we say giant, we mean the size of Link himself. Also, (this might excite our fans) when you have full hearts, Oni Link's sword can shoot a beam across the room like in the previous games. Giant's Mask

The mask of the great Giant Warrior.  You obtain this mask deep within the Stone Tower, before the boss.  This is the last mask that somewhat transforms Link.  When you wear this mask, you become a giant.  However, you can only use this mask to transform during the boss fight.  This mask must be used in order to defeat Twin-Moldu, the creature is huge so you must be big to fight it.  But when you wear this mask, it takes up magic power, so be conservative.  Visit the boss page for more info on Twin-Moldu.

Deku Mask: you get this when you begin the quest.

Bremen Mask: go to the laundry pool on the first or second night and the Guru Guru will be there playing.  If you let him tell his story he will give you this mask.  You can herd animals with it.

Great Fairy Mask: Capture  the Fairy in Clock Town and the great fairy will give you this mask.  It will attract lost fairies when worn in dungeons.
 
Bunny Hood: go to the Cucoo Hut at Romani ranch on the final day.  Walk around wearing the Bremen mask and herd all of the chicks.  When you get all ten, they will turn into cucoos and Grog will reward you with the Bunny hood which makes you run  faster.

Mask of Scents: After you beat the Woodfall Temple, go to the shrine on the right of the palace and follow the Deku Butler before the time runs out. Use the Bunny hood if you have it. This mask will allow you to sniff mushrooms.

Goron Mask: After you get the Lens of Truth, use it to follow Darmani's ghost to his tomb in the Goron graveyard.  You'll need the lens to see the invisible ladder to climb up there. Once you've arrived at the tomb, play the Song of Healing.

 Romani's Mask: Complete the Romani's notebook entries and you'll get this mask. it gives you access to the Milk bar at Clock Town.

 Kamaro's Mask: Play the healing song for the dancing man who is found  north of Clock Town, near the entrance to Snowhead. He should be on a mushroom. This  mask allows you to dance.

Blast Mask: Stop the thief, Sacon, after midnight on the first night in north Clock Town to get it.  You will be able to use it like a bomb.

 Kafei's Mask: Talk to the Mayors wife, Madame Aroma, at the Mayor's office and she'll give you this.  This mask is used to find her Son and eventually get the Keaton mask.

 Captans Hat: Play the Sonata of Awakening in front of Keeta, the giant skeleton, in the graveyard, Follow and kill him and you'll find this mask in a chest. You can talk to Stalchildren while wearing it and Redeads will not bother you.

Mask of Truth: Find all 30 skulltulas at the Woodfall Spider house and free the cursed man at the entrance. This must be done on the first or second day. This mask allows you to communicate with animals and Gossip Stones.

All Night Mask: Stop the thief, Sakon, on the first night. Then buy the mask for 500 rupees at the curiosity shop.  Allows you to stay up and listen to Anjou's Grandmother's long  stories.

Stone Mask: On the road to Ikana, use the lens of truth and look at the space between the circle of rocks.  You'll see a wounded soldier. Give him some red potion and he'll give you the Stone mask.  It will make you invisible to some enemies.

Keaton Mask: Complete the notebook sequence and give the pendent to Anju.  Then ask the owner of the Curiosity shop where Kafei  has gone.  You'll get the mask.  Wear this mask when standing in the center of a circle of bushes and Keaton will ask you some questions.  Answer them correctly and you'll get a reward.

Don Gero's Mask: Light all the torches in the Goron village and then break the pots on the chandelier and Rock Sirloin will drop down.  Take it the the cold Goron Near the Blacksmith's hut and give it to him.  It allows you to talk to frogs.

Zora Mask: Go to the Great Bay Coast and find the body of Mikau, the dying Zora. Push him ashore and play the Play the Song of Healing for him.

Garo's Mask: Win the race with the two Gorman Brothers. Use this mask to enter Ikana Canyon.

 Postman's Hat: Get the letter from Madame Aroma and give it to the postman.  You can open mail boxes when you wear it.

Circus Leader's Mask: Go to the Milk bar and help the Zora with the sound check by playing the instrument of each mask.  Wear this mask during Cremira's notebook sequence and you will be protected from attackers.

 Couple's Mask: Complete Anju's notebook entry.  Then wear this mask and talk to the Mayor after 10 pm and he'll give you a heart piece.

Gidbo Mask: In the dried up well, play the Song of Storms in front of Sharp. This will remove his curse and cause the well to fill and kill the Gidbos. Next, enter the Music Box House and sneak past Pamela.  Find Pamela's father and play the Song of Healing to uncurse him.  This mask will allow you to walk unnoticed around Gidbos.

 Giant's Mask: Found in a treasure Chest outside the Stone Tower Boss room.  It makes Link huge, but can only be used in the Boss room of the Stone Tower.

Fierce Diety Mask: Collect all 23 masks and give them to the Children of the Moon.  Wearing it transforms Link into Oni Link, his ultimate fighting form.  Used only for the final battle.
