Legend of Zelda: Boss Strategies: by Mystery Man Aquamentus - Boss of Level 1 Three blows to the head, by the sword,  will kill him.  It helps to have full hearts, as you can throw the energy beams off the sword from across the room, also making it easier to dodge the balls of energy he shoots out. Dodongo - Boss of Level 2 There are two main ways to beat him.  One is to place two bombs into his mouth. Have him walk toward you and place a bomb right before he reaches you, and he will eat it.  Repeat this another time, and he will die.  The other way is to place a bomb to where it will explode on the Dodongo's back, stunning him, in which you can finish him off with your sword. Mandhandla - Boss of Level 3 This guy is pretty tough, depending on how you want to beat him.  The easy way is to time a bomb perfectly to blow up when the center of him is over it, blowing up all four claws at once.  The hard way is to knock each claw off one at a time.  To do this, you must hit each claw with your sword twice.  No matter which you choose, he will be defeated after all four claws have gone away. Gleeok - Boss of Level 4 This is similar to Aquamentus, except Gleeok has multi-heads.  This go around he only has two, however.  The sword is the only thing that will work on him, so dodge the balls of energy and go up and stab his head.  Eight hits will roughly be what it takes to kill this guy.  After you cut off one head, it will start flying around the room shooting energy balls out you, so you must more faster, and more conscious of what's going on.  Cut off his second head to finish him off. Digdogger - Boss of Level 5 This is basically a giant eye.  When you first enter the room, whip out the flute and play a tune.  This will make him shrink in size.  Now just go up and hit him twice with the sword. Ghoma - Boss of Level 6 This giant spider's weakness is it's large eye that opens now and again.  As soon as you see the eye open, shoot an arrow into it.  That simple. Aquamentus - Boss of Level 7 Yep, him again.  Do the same as Level 1.  This time it should only take two hits if you have the Magic Sword. Gleeok - Boss of Level 8 They REALLY like Dragons, huh?  Do the same as in Level 4, only this go around he has more heads. Same thing, only takes longer. Gannon - Boss of Level 9 Well, he's what you have been waiting for.  He will start by going around the room, disappearing, then re-appearing to shoot fireballs at you.  Hit him four times with your sword, and he will turn brownish in color.  Pull out the Silver Arrows and fire away.
